A new year
A happy new year to all, we’re back at work. Above picture is leftovers from our christmas greetings.
FYI: It can take at minimum four days to get your broken phone fixed through Sonera. So don’t get any problems with your iPhone unless this may be a problem to you. Linus is back in business with his new and _working_ phone again. So please do call him if you’ve been unable to catch him lately.

One Night Stand
Today Sebastian Jansson & Sebastian Sandelin opens their One Night Stand -one night pop up exhibition. Emil & Stephanie helped with designing all the materials including website, invitations and email-newsletter + the cube. Ville Varumo took pictures of the cube. Product pictures by Davide Bernardi and Anton Sucksdorff. We will post pictures from the event a bit later on. If you’re reading this on Saturday, please visit the exhibition, which is open until 21:00 at Ratakatu 27, Helsinki.

Something strange in Merihaka
Today we had a fun photoshoot with Ville Varumo (website) for a design exhibition arranged by JANSSON/SANDELIN which will take place on 19th december 2009 and is called “One night stand”. We wondered what’s up with this strange monolith though, which we found in Merihaka (see below).
You’ll soon find out more as soon as we get a nights sleep. We’ll keep you posted!

What’s happening?
Ville is taking a picture and fencing with the wall. After looking at the first frames, we’re confident. It will turn out awesome.

Tölö Specialiseringsgymnasium
We designed Tölö Specialiseringsgymnasium’s brochure. Photography featured in the brochure by Ville Varumo. Our concept was a timeless travel into the inspiring school building which is a blend of old and new. Every picture is combined with a quote by a famous thinker. Intentionally, the pictures don’t feature any (living) people nor animals —apart from the headmaster, of course — because we wanted a feeling where the time has stopped and the viewer would feel a strong presence in the space.
Lastly, a beautiful quote featured in the brochure (which we also believe in and try to apply accordingly in everything we do): “Nothing is easy to the unwilling—Thomas Fuller” – which of course couldn’t be more true.
